To ensure the talent development of the group’s "three highs and four innovations," a multi-level and multi-type talent training system will be established, strengthening the management talent reserve of subsidiaries, promoting the overall quality improvement of the cadre team. On May 20, the 2019 management position competition speech and job report meeting of Haideshi Group was successfully held in the fourth-floor conference hall.
Chairman Zhang Benyan, General Manager Zhang Ping, and other group leaders attended the meeting, and invited the leaders of subsidiaries from the export processing zones in Hangzhou, Changchun, and Chongqing, as well as several representatives from various third-party departments at the group headquarters, to form the evaluation committee.
After the preliminary self-recommendation, departmental recommendation, and initial review by the HR department and responsible leaders, a total of 35 candidates met the competition conditions. At the meeting, Minister Gu Zhefai of the HR department reviewed the progress of the 2019 management position competition project, introduced the application and initial review situation, the profile of the candidates for the competition speech, and the scoring rules; Deputy General Manager Lai Maoxia, representing the group talent committee, put forward requirements for the competition speech work. The group focuses on talent cultivation, providing employees with opportunities to realize their self-worth through a competition method of "fairness, openness, competition, and survival of the fittest," based on the group’s future development and talent cultivation, and providing talent support for the group’s strategic goals.
The positions for this competition include 30 positions at the executive level of subsidiaries, as well as ministerial and section chief levels at the group headquarters. Candidates are comprehensively evaluated from aspects such as understanding and recognition of the competition positions, personal competitive advantages, group control and operational thinking, future work planning and measures, team building, and talent cultivation plans. The defense session after the personal competition speech was even more intense and exciting, with judges asking questions and providing comments from multiple perspectives, including personal competence, talent cultivation, team building, work planning for the competition position, and enterprise operation and development, combining correction and guidance.
After the competition speech, General Manager Zhang Ping emphasized in his concluding speech that talent is the most valuable resource for enterprise development. Our employees should seize the opportunities provided by the company, continuously enhance self-improvement and accurate positioning, and be good at thinking and summarizing. They should avoid being overly ambitious and must be pragmatic. Management personnel must remember their responsibilities and missions, and continue to work hard for the development of Haideshi.
