On March 29, the Haide Group 2019 annual supplier conference, themed "Both Offense and Defense, Innovative Breakthrough," was successfully held at the Chongqing Century Jin Yuan Hotel. About 103 suppliers from across the country, with over 200 representatives, were invited to attend the conference. Company leaders including Vice Chairman Zhang Benyan and General Manager Zhang Ping, as well as leaders from various branches and middle-level cadres from relevant departments, attended the conference.

At 8:50, the conference opened with the passionate "Song of Haide." All attendees watched the "Haide Group 2018 Annual Events" and the special documentary "We Walk Together" celebrating the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening up of the Lilon Group, reflecting on the unyielding struggle of the Haide Group over the past 24 years.

At 9:30, Vice Chairman Zhang Benyan delivered a welcome speech titled "Unite Our Hearts and Minds, Innovate for Win-Win," reviewing the operational achievements of the Haide Group driven by reform and opening up, as well as the excellent results achieved by the supplier team. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the strong support from suppliers. He mentioned that on one hand, it is important to correctly view the downward pressure of the domestic and international economy and the development trend of the automotive industry’s "new four modernizations"; on the other hand, in response to the once-in-a-century transformation battle of the automotive industry, only by adapting to the situation and seizing opportunities can we win greater development. He hopes that in the intelligent era, we can work hand in hand to strive for "overtaking on a curve."

Subsequently, Minister Zhang Ying from the Purchasing Department, Minister Liu Degao from the Quality Management Department, and Dean Du Qizhong from the Engineering Research Institute each delivered detailed business reports on three major business areas: procurement cost control, high-quality product creation, synchronized research and development, and standardization construction.

At the meeting, General Manager Zhang Ping delivered an important speech centered around the conference theme "Both Offense and Defense, Innovative Breakthrough," reviewing the key achievements of the Haide Group last year, deeply analyzing the domestic and international economic and automotive industry situation, and outlining the company's work for 2019. He pointed out that "Both Offense and Defense" is the overall strategy of the Haide Group in response to the current economic situation. "Offense" is the spirit of proactive attack and innovation, while "Defense" is the foundation of honing internal skills and accumulating strength. "Innovative Breakthrough" is the ability to seize opportunities and grasp strategic high ground. To this end, the Haide Group will fully implement strategic measures such as "technological innovation, manufacturing upgrades, management improvements, and talent cultivation"; he emphasized that those who brave the thorns will win, and the Haide Group is willing to pursue progress together with suppliers, solidifying the value management mechanism of the entire supply chain and jointly building a user trust system to welcome the warm spring of recovery.

Deputy General Manager Lai Maoxia read the decision on the recognition of suppliers for the year 2018. 16 suppliers were awarded the titles of "Delivery Excellence Award," "Development Cooperation Award," "Quality Excellence Award," and "Outstanding Supplier." The representative of advanced suppliers, the Asia-Pacific President of Bosch Automotive Components (Changsha) Co., expressed the willingness to seek common development and achieve a win-win situation. The morning theme conference concluded with warm applause, and all representatives and key leaders took a group photo in the bright spring sunshine.

At 14:00, supplier representatives from Bosch, Youhui, and Wanbaozhi shared case studies on lean production and Industry 4.0, VA/VE, and delivery improvements, and invited the consulting company Youqi to interpret the preferential policies for small and medium-sized enterprises in Chongqing, providing policy guidance and business references for suppliers. At the thank-you dinner, employees from the Purchasing Department sang "Believe We Will Create Miracles," and guests enjoyed lively conversations amidst the wonderful performances.

This conference enhanced the understanding and trust between the Haide Group and its supplier partners, strengthened the confidence in cooperation, not only solidifying the willingness to cooperate but also injecting a strong boost for a win-win future.
