On June 23, Minister Wei Jiang of the Manufacturing Department, Director Feng Peibin of Workshop Three, and Li Yunxia from the HPS Promotion Department, along with three others, attended the Dongfeng Honda 2019 NHC Group Achievement Presentation Conference. Workshop Three's cohesion circle represented the company with the topic "Reducing Poor PPM of Overflow at the Root of Die-Casting Joints."
The theme of this conference is "Wisdom Gathering Innovation for 15 Years." There were 80 groups from Dongfeng Honda's first, second, and third factories, along with 8 suppliers, totaling 88 groups participating. Tatsuya Natsume, the General Manager of Dongfeng Honda, and other senior leaders, including vice presidents, attended the meeting. The conference was divided into 11 venues for simultaneous presentations, with 11 gold, silver, and bronze awards each. The cohesion circle's wonderful speech received the warmest applause from the audience, and the event reached a climax with beautiful wishes on banners, winning extra points from the judges. They received high praise and evaluation for "lively and novel presentation, clear topic ideas, sufficient verification of countermeasures, and reasonable application of QC methods." Ultimately, they stood out from the participating groups, winning the gold award again after the Dongfeng Honda Supplier NHC Presentation Conference on May 17, and were the only group among all participating suppliers to win the gold award, successfully advancing to the NHC World Conference selection.
During this period, our presenter Zhang Xuechuan faced a spiritual ordeal. On one hand, he had been preparing with his teammates for a long time, and the work task was urgent with no possibility of a last-minute replacement. On the other hand, he encountered the sudden death of a family member at home. He made a difficult decision, suppressing his grief and the guilt of not being able to fulfill his filial duties. With the support and understanding of his family, Zhang Xuechuan resolutely participated in this event and, together with his partner, nearly perfectly completed the speech.
On June 24, at the morning meeting, the company publicly recognized and commended the award-winning achievements and professional spirit of the cohesion circle. General Manager Zhang Ping presented the awards to them, hoping everyone would continue to work hard and achieve even better results. The Haideshi team is united in spirit, pursuing their dreams.
